Dumyat
is a popular local walk in Stirling. It only takes
about 1.5 hours getting to the top. 1 hour for the fitter walkers. There
is a path all the way up, however there is no way marking on the hill.
Hill walkers have been know to get into difficulty in the Ochils. Please
make sure you have suitable footwear and jacket.

Use Ordnance Survey landranger map number 57.
Park
the car at grid 813 980 cross over the fence (see picture) and follow
the track to grid 8356 9769, the summit of Dumyat, at a height of 418m.
It's a short walk of about 1 hour up for the fitish type and the same
down taking in a stop or two for the views.
